In this episode, we learn about Sebastian’s polar expeditions including a close encounter with an adolescent polar bear.  Sebastian also gives us perspective on climate change and its affects on politics, cultures and the future of humanity.  We also discuss to role of AI in society, and how humans can differentiate ourselves and prepare for the future by strengthening our compassion and empathy.  This is a fun one — enjoy!

About Sebastian: Sebastian Copeland is a polar explorer, photographer and climate expert. In 2017, Copeland was named one of the world's top 25 adventurers of the last 25 years. Noted as a photographer “who has produced works that are of outstanding artistic merit and communicates messages of urgent global significance,” Copeland has led numerous expeditions to document the endangered Polar regions. 

Sebastian has addressed audiences at the UN, at governments, universities and many fortune 500 companies warning of the systemic transformations taking place in the polar regions, and their geopolitical consequences. He is a fellow of The Explorers Club and sits on the Board of Directors President Gorbachev’s NGO Global Green USA.
